🇫🇷 Let’s go to France! 🇫🇷
🇫🇷 Let’s go to France! 🇫🇷
🇫🇷Bonjour is hello in French. Encourage the children to say bonjour when seeing any family and friends today or over the phone.
🇫🇷 Look at different breads. Focus on a french baguette and the children’s senses. What does it feel like? What does it smell like? What does it taste like? What does it look like? What does it sound like when you cut into it compared to a slice of bread? You can even have a go at making some bread. I love fresh bread!!🙋♀️
🇫🇷 The Eiffel tower is a key landmark in France. How high can your children make a tower before it falls down? Try and turn it into a competition and encourage the children to compare different materials to see which resources would make the best tower. Remember a key part of the EYFS is comparing, while looking at similarities and differences while investigating.
🇫🇷 Today we are going to make lots of french flags by using different materials. Make one flag with paint, chalk, tissue paper, pencils, felt tips and encourage the children to pick their favourite one and explain why.
